Abstract Print by Neil Masterman

It was a hot sunny day I was with my companion who was feeling depressed. In an effort to raise her spirits I said, “I’ll paint you a picture”. My companion protested and insisted she needed to go at 1 o’clock. I said, “It’ll only take 5 minutes”.

I proceeded and threw the canvas on the grass and painted vigorously using several colours.I then picked up a bucket of water and threw it on the canvas. The room roared with laughter, I looked at my watch and the time was 1 o’clock.

The painting had taken 5 minutes.
